Kids & Youth
Through our BLAST and Youth programs, we aim to provide a solid foundation for young people to grow in faith by teaching the central stories of the Bible. Kids and youth are welcomed and encouraged to be involved in all aspects of our faith community.
Young Families
If you’re a parent of young children, hopefully it helps you to know we have a fully equipped nursery as well as change tables in both the nursery and upstairs washroom. We also have a small gym available for hockey or soccer if your child needs to burn off some energy! There are always cookies and juice available after BLAST and worship services, and many friendly people who can offer a helping hand.
BLAST – Faith Formation for Kids
On Sunday mornings experience a story in our Storytelling Oasis, make a craft in our Noah’s Art Room, or even play an interactive computer game in our Skylab! Our BLAST program offers an engaging atmosphere for your child to learn about God’s love and the core lessons of the Bible. Our goal is to make learning fun for students and teachers alike. Participation is open to children ages 3 – Grade 6. We hope your family can join us!

Youth Ministry
Our youth program is geared at young people in grades 7 to 12. It’s divided into Confirmation (grades 7-8) and Youth (grades 9-12). A grade 9 Confirmation session is also offered. These programs tackle tough questions about God and the Bible and help young people explore Christian faith and theology and how it applies to their lives. This involves open discussion around curriculum-based topics or whatever issue seems relevant on a particular day. And it’s not always serious stuff – take part in retreats, service projects, social events, worship, lots of food and an occasional youth gathering too. Both groups meet Sunday mornings at 9am and also during the week.
