Adult Learning

St. Mark’s offers a variety of educational opportunities for adults of all ages.  We strongly believe in life long learning.  This article written by National Bishop Susan Johnson speaks to the importance of regular study for enriching our Christian faith and equipping us to be better disciples.  (Originally published in Canada Lutheran magazine; reproduced by permission.)

STUDY GUIDE – Planet In Peril: Stewardship of Creation

The Evangelical Lutheran Church in Canada is making the “greening of the church” a priority for our life together. In connection with this timely and important endeavour, Harold Remus and Jana Kelly (both of St.Mark’s) have produced a terrific study-document called Planet in Peril: God’s Earth, God’s People. This is a great guide which groups can use to begin to explore how our faith connects to our stewardship of Creation.
